Delawareans Attend EPA Clean Power Plan Hearing - Photos
June 2nd 2014 the EPA announced it's proposed Clean Power Plan--for the first time EVER this plan includes a national limit on carbon pollution from new & power plants, the main driver of climate change. On July 29th 2014 Sixteen Delaware Sierra Club supporters attended one of the public hearings on the proposal at EPA Headquarters in Washington D.C. to testify in favor of climate action; Photos of the day are below.

Our group gave lots of great testimony on ways Delawareans are already being impacted by climate change and why we support the proposed rule and hope EPA will take swift action on climate change. Many people mentioned their experiences with sea level rise and the health impacts of air pollution.
