Hurricane Sandy tragedy has affected so many people in our region and we wanted to lend a hand to our fellow neighbors. On Sunday, Nov 11, 2012 we joined the New Jersey Chapter of Surfrider and United by Blue in a cleanup in Ocean City, NJ.

This trip to the Chesapeake Bay is organized by the Society for Natural History of Delaware.
Our Dover-area members organized a highway cleanup and potluck picnic / swim party on September 22, 2012. 13 bags of trash and a Pallet collected and reported. Many thanks to Mary and Dan Snyder for organizing this event and hosting the picnic, and for our members who came out to keep Delaware clean!
