One day after the traditional "Delaware Debates" debate at UD's Mitchell Hall which requires tickets, our friends at the Wilmington NAACP are hosting a public Candidate's Forum. The forum is free and open to the public and will be held on Thursday, October 16, 6-8pm at the Carvel State Office Building, 820 North French Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
From the Delaware State Senate Republican Caucus email newsletter:
The Greater Hockessin Area Development Association (GHADA) and Sen. Greg Lavelle (R-Sharpley) have organized a public meeting for residents concerned about the discovery of groundwater contamination at an active dry-cleaning business in Hockessin.
It will be part of GHADA's monthly meeting, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 20, 7 p.m., at the Hockessin Memorial Hall, 1225 Old Lancaster Pike.
