Sierra Club applauds the work of dozens of local and regional organizations to secure a decision to strengthen and improve the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), a multi-state agreement to reduce harmful carbon pollution in nine Northeastern states.
We invite you to join the Sierra Club's work to educate about and advocate for sustainable energy policies.
It was a blustery day on Jan 31, 2013 when Stephanie and Amy visited Flexera's installation of a large 11.25 kW solar panel installation for the Delaware Sierra Club's Solar Homes program in Middletown.
With each installation through our partnership, Flexera makes a $500 donation to the Delaware Chapter to assist in our environmental conservation and outreach work.

The Delaware Chapter of the Sierra Club opposes the Delaware Economic Development Office's plans to sell part of the Port of Wilmington to Kinder Morgan.
Kinder Morgan has announced their intention to install an Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) export facility at the Port and/or to expand coal exports. Expanded natural gas or coal export at the location introduces new evironmental risks to port communities, and increases the market for mountaintop removal coal mining and fracking.
