The Delaware Chapter of the Sierra Club has filed to officially "intervene" in the Delmarva Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). This plan reviews how Delmarva will meet electricity needs and justify costs, and includes information on the environmental and health impact of our energy supply.

The Delaware Chapter of the Sierra Club offers our support for the Sustainable Energy Utility (SEU) as a valuable asset to energy efficiency and renewable energy development in Delaware.
Our Energy and Climate Lobby Day was a tremendous success. We had more than 30 people participate and lobby 4 Senators and 5 Representatives from the House and Senate Energy Committees about the need to improve the renewable portfolio standard.
