Shenks Ferry Wildflower Preserve (PA)
The trail-head is well-marked, even though the actual preserve is located along back-roads that turn to gravel. Parking is available on the side of the road. Once you pass the trail head, the road condition deteriorates, so try to park before you reach the trail.
The trail is well-maintained and quite wide.
Some seating is provided along the trail.
This portable toilet is the only facility in the area.
The trail hugs the valley along this small stream, Grubb Run.
An ideal picnic spot, either on top of this tunnel, or along the shoreline of the stream.
