Project would dig a trench across the Brandywine Creek for a natural gas pipeline
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is now accepting public comments for the Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Company LLC Environmental Assessment for the Proposed Brandywine Creek Replacement Project.
The project proposes to dig a trench across the Brandywine Creek to replace an existing natural gas pipeline with a larger one. The pipeline crossing is just a few miles upstream from the intake for the City of Wilmington's drinking water supply.
The public comment period closes on March 29, 2013.
